Flow Meters*

  • This assembly comes with the 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 body, flow converter and 30' cable. 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 Body by KROHNE The OPTIFLUX 4100 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for a wide range of standard process applications with aggressive and abrasive liquids. It enables reliable flow measurement even under harsh process conditions with temperatures up to +180°C / +356°F, low conductivity (≥5 µS/cm) and solid content (up to 10%). This makes the flowmeter particularly suitable for applications involving corrosive chemicals, sewage and drilling mud or mining sludge. Installation in measurement chambers subject to (constant) flooding is also possible using the optional IP68 / NEMA 6P rated version. Unlike the basic version OPTIFLUX 4050, the OPTIFLUX 4100 features higher accuracy. It comes with a selection of chemically resistant liners and electrodes. Due to its full bore design without moving or intruding parts, there is no pressure loss and no maintenance required. A full on-site verification of the flowmeter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool. The IFC 100 is a 4-wire electromagnetic signal converter. Combined with the flow sensors of the OPTIFLUX and WATERFLUX series it forms the OPTIFLUX 1100, OPTIFLUX 2100, OPTIFLUX 4100, OPTIFLUX 5100, OPTIFLUX 6100 and WATERFLUX 3100 electromagnetic flowmeters for standard applications with conductive liquids.

6" Electromagnetic Flow Converter by KROHNE
The IFC 100 can be freely combined with KROHNE's entire standard series of electromagnetic flowmeters. The IFC 100 was designed for applications requiring an economical measuring solution with a high level of technology. KROHNE offers its customers a comprehensive application and process diagnostics package far beyond what device diagnostics normally offer. These devices continually measure all decisive parameters and convey information about the condition of the device, the quality of the measured value and potential application errors. The user has a precise overview of the process at any given time –thus fulfilling from A to Z the constantly increasing requirements of an optimal process. With its resistance measurement and noise measurement, the IFC 100 lays the foundation for even more process transparency and reliably reports about:
    • Gas bubbles and detection of solids
    • Changing or excessively low conductivity (e.g. during change of media or empty tube)
    • Deposits on electrodes
    • Electrode corrosion
    • Too high media or ambient temperature
IFC 100 for all standard applications- the most innovative converter line
    • Compact, remote field, wall-mounted and rack-mounted housing
    • With many sensor and process diagnostics for standard requirements
    • 4-wire, 4…20 mA, pulse, frequency, status, HART®
  • This assembly comes with the WATERFLUX body, flow converter and 30' cable. WATERFLUX 3070 Water Meter with Electromagnetic Flow Converter and Cable by KROHNE This is an electromagnetic water meter for district metering of potable water and custody transfer (CT) measurement
    • Battery- or mains powered, with battery backup option (incl. Modbus)
    • Integrated temperature and pressure measurement for leak monitoring
    • CT: MI-001, OIML R49 up to DN600 / 24", no inlet/outlet runs needed
    • Burial installation possible (IP68)
The WATERFLUX 3070 is a battery powered electromagnetic water meter for use in water abstraction wells, district metering areas (DMA) and custody transfer measurement of potable water (MI-001, OIML R49). With optional pressure and temperature sensors, the meter can also be used for leak detection, quality control and pressure management systems. Unlike mechanical water meters, the WATERFLUX 3070 is maintenance-free and offers a much larger turn down ratio (1000:1). Its measuring tube with a rectangular and reduced cross-section enables a stable measurement even at low flow rates. Due to the optimized flow profile, the WATERFLUX 3070 can be installed virtually anywhere without straight inlet or outlet runs – behind pipe bends, slide valves or a reduction in the pipe. Even burial installation or use in flooded areas is possible. Next to battery-powered operation with integrated batteries or optional external battery backup (“PowerBlock”), the WATERFLUX 3070 offers multiple power supply options. For locations with mains power supply, an optional FlexPower unit is available to connect the battery-powered meter to a 110…230V AC or 10…30V DC power source on site, e.g. an electrical grid, a solar panel or a small windmill. For permanent transmission of multiparameter measurement readings (e.g. flow, pressure, temperature), Modbus RTU communication is available as a simple interface. For remote or difficult to access measurement points (e.g. abstraction wells), the water meter can also be equipped with a GPRS or 3G module for remote transmission of readings. Product highlights
