Engineered to provide positive grip and ease of installation. High quality and reliability have made Spears® insert fittings the preferred choice for irrigation and O.E.M. applications. A wide variety of PVC insert configurations and adapters are available for use with polyethylene pipe sizes 1/2″ through 4″, plus 6″ & 8″ Couplings and Adapters for layflat and oval hose type irrigation hoses.  Chemical and corrosion resistant, rigid PVC barbed inserts provide excellent grip with polyethylene materials.

Insert fittings may also be used in the dewatering process.  Dewatering in its simplest term is the removal of water from solid material or soil by a process of solid-liquid separation. Construction dewatering, unwatering or water control are common terms used to describe removal or draining ground water or surface water from a riverbed, construction site or mine shaft.
